Nästa steg i betatestet: enklare onboarding och krypterad gruppkommunikation
Vi närmar oss test av nästa steg i sweTAK – en ny onboarding och kryptering av kommunikationen i appen. Det här är den största förändringen sedan betatestet startade, och den påverkar hur du kommer igång och hur du kommunicerar i fält.

Onboarding med personlig QR-kod
|
Behovet av att konfigurera appen med tekniska detaljer försvinner. Varje individ får i stället en egen QR-kod som skannas med mobilen. Koden bär med sig både inställningarna och de grupper som sambandsbefälen på kompaniet har bestämt.

I praktiken: skanna koden – klart. Ingen manuell inmatning av adresser, nycklar eller kanaler.
|
Krypterad kommunikation och grupper
Kommunikationen i appen krypteras, och i samma steg blir det möjligt att kommunicera i grupper. Vilka grupper du tillhör styrs av din QR-kod – alltså av det sambandsbefälen har beslutat, inte av inställningar du själv behöver hitta i appen.

sweTIK ligger till grund
Sambandsordern och kompanistrukturen definieras i vår mjukvara sweTIK, som är avsedd för kompaniledning och stabspersonal och nås via valfri webbläsare. Det som beslutas där är det som hamnar i den enskilde soldatens QR-kod och i sweTAK.

Inom kort skickar vi ut ett separat mejl till samtliga betatestare. Det innehåller en namnlista med de callsigns som ni har tilldelats i sambandsordern från kompaniet. Håll utkik efter det mejlet – det behövs för nästa testomgång.

Next step in the beta: simpler onboarding and encrypted group communication
We are approaching the test of the next step in sweTAK – a new onboarding flow and encryption of communication within the app. This is the biggest change since the beta started, and it affects both how you get set up and how you communicate in the field.

Onboarding with a personal QR code
|
The need to configure the app with technical details disappears. Instead, each individual receives their own QR code to scan with their phone. The code carries both the settings and the groups decided by the signals officers at the company.
|
In practice: scan the code – done. No manual entry of addresses, keys or channels.
|
Encrypted communication and groups
Communication in the app is encrypted, and the same step makes it possible to communicate in groups. Which groups you belong to is determined by your QR code – that is, by what the signals officers have decided, not by settings you have to locate in the app yourself.

sweTIK provides the foundation
The signals order and the company structure are defined in our software sweTIK, intended for company command and staff personnel and accessed through any web browser. What is decided there is what ends up in the individual soldier's QR code and in sweTAK.

What happens next
Shortly, we will send a separate email to all beta testers. It contains a list of names with the callsigns assigned to you in the signals order from the company. Keep an eye out for that email – it is needed for the next round of testing.
